ORDINANCE NO. 2518 <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.4 OF THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE LOCATION OF SWIMMING POOLS IN <br />REQUIRED SIDEYARDS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 240 PLEASANT DRIVE, <br />ELK GROVE VILLAGE (EHRKE) <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held con- <br />sidered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit <br />the location of a swimming pool located 1.5 feet into the required sideyard on property located at <br />240 Pleasant Drive and legally described hereinafter; and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village, after having considered <br />the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that suffi- <br />cient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: <br />Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />to permit the location of a swimming pool which would encroach approximately 1.5 feet into the <br />required sideyard on property located at 240 Pleasant Drive, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and le- <br />gally described as follows: <br />Lot 2952 in Elk Grove Village Section 9, being a Subdivision in Section 33, <br />Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to <br />the Plat thereof recorded July 1, 1960 as Document No. 17897670, in Cook <br />County, Illinois <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage <br />and approval according to law. <br />
