AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLANS: THE <br />CLASSIFICATION PLANS: AND SALARY RANGE FOR MERIT PAY PLAN POSITIONS OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and <br />DuPage, Illinois as follows: <br />Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan, The <br />Classification Plan; and Salary Range or Merit Pay Plan Position; as <br />referenced in Title 1, Chapter 7, Section 1-7-5 of the Village Code be <br />and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Plans are hereby established to provide proper compensation for <br />each job. These Plans are as follows: <br />A. A Merit Salary Plan for Non -Union Executive, Administrative, <br />Supervisory, Technical, and Professional employees as <br />adjusted; <br />B. A Merit Salary Plan for the Unionized Fire Lieutenant <br />Classification as negotiated; <br />C. A Non -Union Step Pay Plan as adjusted for non -supervisory <br />employees; <br />D. Step Pay Plans as negotiated for Unionized employees; <br />E. Specific Rate Pay Plan for School Crossing Guards, Custodians, <br />Residential Meter Readers, Sumner Employees and Interns. <br />The Classification Plan <br />The Schematic Outline of Occupational Titles, including a <br />class code and the list of Authorized Positions by departments, <br />shall constitute the Classification Plan, copies of which are on <br />file in the Office of the Village Clerk. All positions in each <br />class shall be compensated in accordance with their designated <br />Salary Plan. <br />
