ORDINANCE NO. 2514 <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.1 OF THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIREPLACE CHASE <br />ENCROACHING APPROXIMATELY 1.1 FEET INTO THE REQUIRED FIVE (S) <br />FOOT SIDEYARD AT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 608 CHELMSFORD LANE, ELK <br />GROVE VILLAGE (AMEDEO) <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a pub - <br />lie meeting duly called and held considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3- <br />6:1).1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the use of yards for structures to permit the con- <br />struction of a fireplace chase which would encroach into the required five (5') foot sideyard on <br />property located at 608 Chelmsford Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village <br />after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals find <br />and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: <br />Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:1).1 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />to permit a 1.1 foot encroachment into the five foot sideyard for the construction of a fireplace <br />chase on property located at 608 Chelmsford Lane, Elk Grove Village and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Lot No. 4820 in Elk Grove Village Section 16, being a Subdivision in the South <br />1/2 of Section 29, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal <br />Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded in the Office of the Recorder of <br />Deeds on May 16, 1968 as Document Number 20492038 and re-recorded on June <br />12, 1968 as Document Number 20517873 and filed in the Office of the Registrar <br />
