ORDINANCE NO. 1371 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1359 <br />BY EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM DATE ON <br />CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the <br />Village of Elk Grove Village pursuant to Ordinance No. 1359 <br />declared a moratorium on Condominium Conversion pending the <br />consideration of the adoption of an Ordinance regulating same; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance 1359 established that the mora- <br />torium be in full force and effect up to and including May <br />27, 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, a proposed Ordinance regulating Condominium <br />Conversions is still being considered in the Judiciary Planning <br />and Zoning Committee of the Village Board,and the President <br />and Board of Trustees find and believe it to be in the best <br />interest of the Village to extend the moratorium period for <br />an additional sixty (60) days; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and <br />Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties <br />of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: <br />Section 1: That pursuant to its home rule powers, the <br />Village of Elk Grove Village hereby amends Ordinance No. 1359 by <br />extending the moratorium period therein established for an <br />additional sixty (60) days following the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Section.2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any <br />of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more <br />than Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars for each offense. No build- <br />ing permit, certificate of occupancy, or license of any nature <br />shall be issued by the Village in connection with such conversion. <br />Section 3: A copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with <br />the Recorder of Deeds of Cook and DuPage Counties. The Village <br />Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Recorder of Deeds of the <br />
