ORDINANCE NO. 1108 <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE OFF-STREET <br />PARKING REQUIREMENTS AS THEY PERTAIN TO INTERIOR <br />PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS, TO RIVER FOREST <br />STATE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY AS TRUSTEE OF TRUST <br />NO. 1688 AND SBL ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and <br />held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of <br />Section 3.94, Paragraph I, of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to off-street <br />parking spaces located in the interior of residential buildings to the River <br />Forest State Bank and Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 1688, and SBL <br />Associates; and <br />WHEREAS, said Zoning Board of Appeals did find that a practical hardship <br />exists so as to warrant such a variation being granted; and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of <br />Appeals find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village that <br />such variation be granted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page Counties, Illinois, as <br />follows: <br />Section I: That there be granted a variation of Section 3.94, Paragraph <br />I, of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village to the River <br />Forest State Bank and Trust Company, as Trustee of Trustee No. 1688, and SBL <br />Associates, to permit parking spaces to be located in the interior of residential <br />buildings to have a length of not less than 19 feet and a width of not less than <br />9 feet, provided that the minimum width may be reduced to 8 feet, 6 inches, for <br />parking spaces in which a supportive column is located. The variation is <br />subject to the condition that all access aisles for said parking spaces have a <br />minimum width of not less than 24 feet. <br />The variation is to apply to the SBL Associates proposed development <br />located north of Devon Avenue, west of Interstate 90 and east of Rohlwing Road <br />and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />
