ORDINANCE N0, 1123 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE 111, BOARD OF ZONING <br />APPEALS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees <br />of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois: <br />and Section 7.306 <br />Section 1: That Chapter 7, Article 3, Section 7.305 be and are hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />7.305 Fees.) All petitioners filing applications directed to the Board <br />of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village <br />shall pay a filing fee of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars to the <br />Village Clerk, and in addition shall deposit the sum of <br />One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars to cover the cost of a <br />court reporter's transcribing the proceeding before <br />said Board of Zoning Appeals. At the request of the <br />petitioner, the President and Board of Trustees may <br />waive said $100.00 deposit provided erither the petit- <br />ioner agrees to provide his own court reporter and a <br />copy of the transcript of the proceedings had before <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals, or the petitioner demon- <br />strates to the President and Board of Trustees that the <br />public interest is not sufficiently affected so as to <br />justify a transcription of the proceedings had before <br />said Board of Zoning Appeals. <br />7.306 Meetings.) All meetings of the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be <br />held at the call of the Chairman and at such times as <br />such Board may determine. All hearings conducted by it <br />shall be open to the public. The Board shall keep minutes <br />of its proceedings showing the vote of each member upon <br />each question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating <br />such fact, and shall also keep records of its hearings and <br />other official actions. Findingsof fact shall be included <br />in the minutes of each case of a requested variation, and <br />the reasons for recommending or denying such variation shall <br />be specified. Every rule or regulation, every amendment or <br />repeal thereof, and every order, requirement, decision or <br />determination of the Board shall be filed immediately in <br />the office of the Board and shall be a public record.
