ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO SAM J. <br />HORNER FOR A TEMPORARY UTILITY FOR THE DISPENSING OF <br />HOT DOGS AND SOFT DRINKS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE <br />SOUTHWEST CORNER OF DEVON AVENUE AND ELMHURST ROAD <br />IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS. <br />WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village <br />sitting as a Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing duly called <br />and held according to law to consider the question of granting a <br />Special Use Permit to Sam J. Horner for a temporary utility for the <br />dispensing of hot dogs and soft drinks on property legally described <br />hereinafter; and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />Elk Grove Village after reviewing the recommendations of said Plan <br />Commission find and believe that the granting of said Special Use <br />Permit is in the best interest of the Village; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and <br />DuPage, Illinois, as follows: <br />Section 1: That a Special Use Permit be issued to Sam J. Horner, <br />tenant of property, and McLennan Company, agent, to permit a temporary <br />utility for the dispensing of hot dogs and soft drinks on property le- <br />gally described as follows: <br />The north 220 feet of the east 240 feet of Section 2, <br />Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal <br />Meridian in Du Page County, Illinois. <br />Section 2: That the Special Use Permit grant herein shall termin- <br />ate on the first day of May, 1976. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. <br />PASSED this 10th day of June 1975. <br />APPROVED this 10th day of June 1975. <br />VOTE: AYES 4 NAYS 1 ABSENT I <br />ATTEST: <br />VILLAGE.
