ORDINANCE NO. 742 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING A WALKWAY IN THE <br />VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE. ILLINOIS <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, after due <br />consideration and investigation, have determined that the nature and <br />extent of the public use and the public interests to be served are <br />such as to warrant the vacation of the walkway hereinafter described <br />and that the public interests will be best served by the Village being <br />relieved from the responsibility for maintaining the same; and <br />WHEREAS, owners of property adjoining the hereinafter <br />described property have each paid the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and <br />DuPage, Illinois, as follows: <br />Section 1: That the public walkway described as follows: <br />As dedicated in Elk Grove Village, Section 15, being a <br />subdivision in Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, <br />East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying south of <br />the south line of Lot 4672, west of the west line of <br />Lot 4485, north of the north line of Yarmouth Rd., and <br />lying east of the east line of Lot 4484, all in Elk <br />Grove Village, 15 aforesaid, in Cook County, 111. <br />as indicated by the words ''TO BE VACATED'' on the plat hereto attached, <br />which plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this <br />ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed inasmuch as <br />the same is no longer required for public use and the public interests <br />will be served by such vacation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />
