ORDINANCE N0. 5 V <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE'S <br />ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY CONSISTING OF <br />THIRTY ACRES OF LAND LOCATED NORTH OF DEVON AVENUE, <br />WEST OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD AND EAST OF ROUTE 53 <br />WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public hearing <br />duly called and held according to law as Docket No. 67-9 <br />on November 16 , 1967, considered the question of <br />reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described from <br />R-1 Twenty Thousand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling <br />District to R-3 Seven Thousand Five Hundred Square Foot <br />Single Family Dwelling District <br />AND, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the <br />Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recom- <br />mendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that the <br />highest and best use of said real estate is that of <br />R-3 Seven Thousand Five Hundred Square Foot Single Family <br />Dwelling District <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of <br />Cook and DuPage, Illinois: <br />Section 1. That an ordinance entitled 11An Ordinance to <br />Regulate and Limit the Height and Bulk of Buildings; to <br />Regulate and Limit the Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas, <br />and to Regulate and Determine the Areas of Open Space Within <br />and Surrounding Such Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and <br />Restrict the Location of Trades and industries and the Loca- <br />xion of Bu}'ldings Designed for Specified Industrial Business, <br />Eysidential and other uses; to Divide the Entire Village of <br />Elk Grove Vii gb intd Districts for thg Purpose of this <br />Ordinance; to ix Standards to Which Buildings or Structures <br />shall Conform; to Prohibit Uses, buildings or structutes <br />Incompatible with the Character of Such Districts Respectively; <br />and to Prevent Additions to and Alterations or Remodeling of <br />Existing Buildings or Structures in Such a Way as to Avoid the <br />Restrictions and Limitations Lawfully Imposed Hereunder, and <br />to Provide Penalties for Violation hereof," passed and approved <br />July 8, 1957, known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended, be <br />amended by reclassifying the following described real estate <br />from <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION: <br />The East 981.93 feet of the South West Quarter (SW4) of <br />the South West Quarter (SW4) of Section thirty-two (32), <br />Township Forty-one (41) North, Range(ll) Eleven, East <br />of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. <br />
