ORDINANCE N0, X5_ <br />AN ORDINANCE CALLING FOR A REGULAR ELECTION OF <br />OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE <br />ON TUESDAY, APRIL 18, 1967 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees <br />of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois: <br />Section 1. That there shall be a regular election of officers of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village on Tuesday, April 18, 1967. <br />Section 2. That at said election there shall be elected: <br />3 Village Trustees, each for a four-year term, <br />1 Village Trustee for a two-year term, <br />2 Library Directors, each for a six-year term. <br />Section 3. That the ballot to be used in said election shall be in <br />the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk <br />to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the election and to cause <br />a sample of said ballot to be published prior to the day of the election in <br />the Elk Grove Herald, a newspaper of general circulation published in said <br />Village, and to cause to be provided the necessary election supplies. <br />Section 4. That at least fifteen but not more than thirty days prior <br />to the election, the Village Clerk shall cause to be published in the Elk Grove <br />Herald a notice of election which shall be substantially as follows: <br />SEE ATTACHED - Notice of Election <br />Section 5. That the precincts or voting districts for said election <br />and the polling places shall be those designated in the preceding section. <br />Section 6. That the judges of election shall be appointed by the <br />President with the approval of the Board of Trustees in the manner provided <br />for by law. <br />Section 7. That said election and all matters pertaining thereto <br />shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by the Statutes of the State of <br />Illinois. <br />Section 8. That all persons desirous of filing as a party slate <br />for Trustees shall Include all Trustee offices noted above in their petition. <br />Section 9.
