ORDINANCE NO. 469 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF <br />LANDMEIER ROAD AND STATE ROUTE 83 <br />WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission, at a public meeting <br />duly called and held according to law on April 27, 1967, <br />considered the question of reclassifying the real estate <br />hereinafter described from M-2 to B-2, <br />AND, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the <br />Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recom- <br />mendation of said Plan Commission to reclassify said real <br />estate, find and believe that the highest and best use of <br />said real estate is that of B-2, <br />AND, WHEREAS, all parties concerned have agreed that unless <br />the project contemplated for said real estate is fully <br />completed within three (3) years from date hereof that the <br />property in question shall be considered eligible for <br />rezoning back to the M-2 zoning classification; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the President and Board <br />of Trustees of the Village of lk Grove Village, Cook and <br />DuPage Counties, Illinois: <br />Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance to <br />regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings to <br />regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas, <br />and to regulate and determine the areas of open space within <br />and surrounding such buildings; to classify, regulate and <br />restrict the location of trades and industries and the <br />location of buildings designed for specified industrial <br />business, residential and other uses to divide the entire <br />Village of Elk Grove Village into districts for the purpose <br />of this ordinance; to fix standards to which buildings or <br />structures shall conform; to prohibit uses, buildings or <br />structures incompatible with the character of such districts <br />respectively; and to prevent additions to and alterations or <br />remodeling of existing buildings or structures in such a <br />way as to avoid the restrictions and limitations lawfully <br />imposed hereunder, and to provide penalties for violation <br />hereof," passed and approved July 8, 1957, known as Ordinance <br />No. 20, as amended, be amended by reclassifying the following <br />described real estate from M-2 to B-2: <br />The South 514.00 feet of the North 544.00 feet of <br />that part of the South half of the Southeast auarter <br />of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of <br />the Third Principal Meridian lying West of the Wast <br />line of State Route 83, in Cook County, Illinois. <br />Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be <br />subject to all the limitations and conditions ps.ced upon <br />properties in the B-2 classification as defined in the <br />ordinance aforementioned. <br />-1- <br />
