ORDINANCE NO. 161 <br />AN ORDINANCE CALLING FOR A REGULAR ELECTION <br />OF OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE <br />VILLAGE ON TUESDAY, APRIL 18, 1961 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of <br />Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois: <br />Section 1 That there shall be a regular election of officers of <br />the Village of 1 Grove Village on Tuesday, April 182 1961. <br />Section 2 At said election there shall be elected: <br />a Village President <br />a Village Clerk <br />8 Village Trustees <br />a Police Magistrate <br />each for a four-year term, and <br />2 Library Directors <br />each for a six-year term. <br />Section 3 The ballot to be used in said election shall be is the <br />form prescr a by statute, and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to <br />see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the election and to cause a <br />sample of said ballot to be published prior to the day of the election in <br />the Elk Grove Herald, a newspaper of general circulation published in said <br />Village, and to cause to be provided the necessary election supplies. <br />Section 4 At least fifteen but not more than thirty days prior <br />to the elec fion, the Village Clerk shall cause to be published in UB Elk <br />Grove Herald a notice of election which diall be substantially as follows: <br />"Notice of Election <br />"On the 18th day of April, 19612 there wi'3_be held a regular <br />election of the Village of Elk Grove Village to elect a Village President, <br />a Village Clerk, three Village Trustees and a Police Magistrate, each for a <br />four-year term, and two Library Directors, for a six-year term each. <br />"The precincts and polling places fur such election shall be as <br />follows: <br />"Precinct No. 1: All that area within the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village lying north of the center line of Landmeier Road as extended. <br />Polling Place: Ira L. Rupley Schuol, 305 E. Oakton Road. <br />"Precinct Nu. 2: All that area within the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village lying south of the center line of Landmeier Road as extended and <br />north of the center line of Elk Grove Buulevard. Pulling Place: Ridge <br />School, 650 Ridge Avenue. <br />"Precinct No. 3: All that area within the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village lying south of the center line of Elk Grove Boulevard. Polling <br />Place: 690 Elk Grove Boulevard. <br />"Polls shall be open from 6:00 o'clock a.m. to 6:00 ofolock p.m. <br />Central Standard Time. <br />"Published by order of the President and Board of Trustees of the <br />Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois. <br />"CHARLES A.
