ORDINANCE NO. 143 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING OLD BUSSE ROAD BETtiEEN LANDMEIER <br />ROAD AND GREENLEAF AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />Elk Grove Village, after due investigation and due consideratdony have <br />determined that the nature and exteht of the public use and the public <br />interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the variation of Old Buses <br />Road between Landmeier Road and Gr6Weaf Avenue in the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village, and further described in this ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, all abutting and adjoining property owners have peti- <br />tioned for the vacation of Old Busse Road between Landmeier Road and <br />Greenleaf Avenue; <br />1. NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and by the <br />Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village that Old Busse Road <br />between Landmeier Road and Greenleaf Avenue in the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village, as hereinafter described, shall be and the same is hereby vacated <br />and closed inasmuch as said road at the places indicated was no longer re— <br />quired for the public use and the public interest would best be subserved <br />by such vacation• <br />That portion of Old Busse Road falling in the SWt of Section 26 <br />and the NWJ of Section 259 both in Township 41 North Range Up <br />East of the Third Principal Meridian and lying between the South <br />line of Landmeier Road and the North line of the South } of said <br />NW} of Section 35, Cook County , Illinois. <br />2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Village Clerk be and is <br />hereby directed to file for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds <br />of Cook County a certified copy of this ordinance with an accomparodmg plat <br />of vacation. <br />APPROVED and ADOPTED by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, this 12th day of September, 1960. <br />VOTE s AYES — 5 <br />NAYS — U <br />NO VOTE — 1 <br />APPROVED: <br />Charles A.
