Ordinance No, 79 <br />AN ORDINANCE annexing certain lands <br />to the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. <br />WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk <br />of the Village of Elk Grove Village by CHICAGO TITLE AND TRUST <br />COMPANY, and Illinois Corporation, as Trustee under Trust No, 38909, <br />and not personallyo being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter <br />described land and territoryo requesting annexation of said tract of land <br />to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and <br />WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate <br />limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove <br />Village, is uninhabited and has no electos residing thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the said petition is under oath and in all respects <br />complies with the requirements of the statute in such case wade and <br />provided; and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village <br />have examined said petition and have considered the question of the <br />annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to be <br />to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be annexed <br />thereto, Now, Therefore; <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: <br />Section I. That the lands and territory described in said petition to -wits <br />That part of the East half, by linear measure of Lot 12, lying <br />South of the North 707, 66 feet thereof (except from said tracts <br />the South 51 feet of the East 1841 feet thereof and that part of <br />South 165 feet thereof, lying West of the East 1001 feet thereat) <br />in Subdivision of the Estate of Henry Landmeier, being parts of <br />Sections 26 and 35, Township 41 North, Range It. East of the <br />Third Principal Meridian, according to plat acknowledged on <br />Dec. 4, 1916 by Richard H, Landmeier, Albert Landmeter, <br />Otto Landmeier and Gustav Landmeier and filed on March. 2, 1917 <br />in the Office of the Registrar of Titles, in Cook County, Illinois <br />as Doc. 70396 <br />
