RESOLUTION N0. /07-7'e/ <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR OVERTIME COMPENSATION FOR <br />VILLAGE EMPLOYEES EXCLUSIVE OF THOSE ENGAGED IN FIRE <br />PROTECTION OR LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage: <br />Section 1: That sub -section B, Section 7, Article 4, The Pay Plan, of <br />t ei—} personnel rules of Elk Grove Village, adopted by Resolution No. 71-65, <br />as amended by Resolution No. 74-68, be and is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />Effective May 1, 1974 Village Employees, exclusive of those <br />engaged in Fire Protection or Law Enforcement activities <br />(as defined in the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as <br />amended in 1974, 29 CFR Part 553) shall be compensated <br />at the rate of time and one-half for authorized hours <br />worked beyond their normal work schedule. <br />Village Employees designated by the Village PIanager as <br />Executive, Administrative and/or Professional (as defined <br />in the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended in 1974) <br />are specifically exempt and excluded from overtime pay <br />compensation. <br />All overtime pay compensation will be in accordance with <br />the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended in 1974. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after —its passage and approval according to law. <br />PASSED <br />this <br />23rd <br />day <br />of <br />APPROVED <br />this <br />23rd <br />day <br />of <br />ATTEST: <br />Village Clerk '.' <br />December , 1974 <br />December . 1974. <br />
