RESOLUTION NO, 6"7Z <br /> A RESOLUTION 1N OPPOSITTON TO PETITTON <br /> FOR REZONING NO� 2332 TO THE BOAPD OF <br /> SUPERVIS PSj QQQQ COUITY ILIIEOIS <br /> WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the President and <br /> Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Villye that there is <br /> a proposed map amendment to DuPage County Zoning Ordinarco, re-- <br /> zoning from R-2, Single Family Residence, to M-2, Manufacturing <br /> District, and a variation in yard set back from residential <br /> district boundary lines on the property hereinafter described: <br /> Lot 2 in Devon' s Five Acre Farms, being a sub- <br /> division in Section 2, Township 40 North, Range <br /> 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, ac- <br /> cording to the plat thereof recorded June 10, <br /> 1947 , as Document i522698 and Certificate of Cor-- <br /> rection dated August 12, 1947 and recorJed August <br /> 13 , 1947 , as Document Q526985 , in DuPage County, <br /> Illinois, <br /> said property being situated on the south side of Devon Avenue, <br /> 1900 feet east of Route 83 in DuPage, County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed use of said premises constitutes a junk- <br /> yard under the definitions of same contained in the zoning ordinances <br /> of Elk Grove Village; and <br /> WHEREAS, said property is within one an& one-half miles of the <br /> Village limits of Elk Grove Village, it being most proximate to the <br /> property in question; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has a comprehensive <br /> plan including the area in question, and is a zoned municipality <br /> within tne meaning of the statute ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of <br /> Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPago, Illinois , believe the <br /> proposed use and rezoning of the property will adversely effect. the <br />
