. +m <br />Resolution No. 1-57 <br />RESOLUTION canvassing the vote <br />cast at the regular election on <br />April 16, 1957, and declaring the <br />results thereof. <br />WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of <br />Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois on Tuesday, April ib, 1957 for <br />the purpose of electing a President, Village Clerk, three Trustees and a <br />Police Magistrate, and <br />WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed <br />the votes cast at said election and are ready to report, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and <br />Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, <br />Illinois-, <br />Section 1. That said election was duly held as provided by law. <br />Section 2. That 48 votes were cast as follows: <br />FOR PRESIDENT: <br />Charles A. Hodlmair,Sr. received 45 votes <br />FOR VILLAGE CLERK: <br />Margaret C. Petrie received 45 votes <br />FOR TRUSTEES: (Three to be elected) <br />Morgan P. Burke, Jr. received 45 votes <br />James L. Carroll received 45 votes <br />Leonard A. Scharringhausen received 45 votes <br />FOR POLICE MAGISTRATE: <br />William N. Glab received 45 votes <br />Three defective ballots were cast and not counted. <br />Section 3. (1) CHARLES A. HOD1Jv1AIR, SR, having received <br />the highest number of votes be and he is hereby declared elected to the <br />office of PreLdent of the Village of Elk Grove, Village, Cook County, Illinois, <br />( 2) MARGARET C.
