MINUTES <br /> Elk Grove Village Plan Commission <br /> Special Meeting <br /> August 21, 1979 <br /> A special meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order by Acting <br /> Chairman Glass at -7:45 p:m. on Monday, August 21, 1979, in the <br /> Council Chamber of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> John Glass, Acting Chairman None <br /> Leah Cummins, Secretary STAFF PRESENT: <br /> Fred Geinosky Stephen M. Feller, <br /> George Mullen Administrative Assistant <br /> Orrin Stangeland <br /> Plat of Dedication for Streets in Section 24 <br /> Cummins moved to recommend approval of the plat subject to the <br /> following requirements: <br /> 1. That an "awareness letter" be sent to all potential property <br /> owners of those structures abutting Meacham Road. This <br /> letter shall explain that the setback from the Meacham Road <br /> right-of-way to the building line is 15 feet. <br /> 2. That prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit for the <br /> structures abutting Meacham Road, the developer shall have <br /> submitted to the Plan Commission an acceptable landscaping <br /> plan and completed the necessary landscaping work in <br /> accordance with the plan. The landscaping plan shall <br /> provide for the buffering of the townhouse structures <br /> from the Meacham Road right-of-way. <br /> 3. That prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit for the <br /> structures abutting Meacham Road, the developer shall have <br /> submitted to the Plan Commission an acceptable plan for <br /> the location of the sidewalk along Meacham Road. This <br /> plan shall have been approved by the Cook County Highway <br /> Department. <br /> Geinosky seconded the motion. All present voted 'AYE' . <br /> Docket 79-4: Elk Grove Presbyterian Church <br /> - Special Use Permit <br /> Mullen moved to recommend that the special use permit to conduct <br /> a not-for-profit day care center and pre-school be granted to the Elk <br /> Grove Presbyterian Church.
