Parrin, Assistant Village Manager <br /> Thomas F. Rettenbacher, Building Commissioner <br /> Thomas J. Cech, Village Engineer <br /> PARK DISTRICT: <br /> Lewis L. Smith, President <br /> Gary Buczkowski, Staff <br /> Public Hearing: Docket 81-6 <br /> The Plan Commission continued the June 3, 1981 Public Hearing on <br /> the Centex Homes petition on site in Section 24A at the Hampton Farms <br /> sales office. <br /> Fred Feinstein, Attorney, was present to represent the petitioner. <br /> William Gillilan and Joe Luciani were also present representing Centex <br /> Homes. <br /> The Commission walked the Hampton Farms site in order to visually <br /> observe the relationship of the existing and proposed Hampton Farms <br /> dwelling units to the golf course, creek area, and the flood plain <br /> preserve. In addition, the Commission walked the common open space <br /> area, a portion of which would be transferred to a public corporation <br /> if the Special Use Permit is amended in accordance with the petition. <br /> Lewis Smith and William Newcombe, Golf Course Architect, described <br /> the fairway locations, the buffering of the Hampton Farms subdivision <br /> from the golf course by the existing trees and creek, and finally the <br /> directions golfers will play. <br /> After walking the Hampton Farms area, the Commission took a bus <br /> tour of Section 24B utilizing University Lane extended. The petitioners <br /> describe the area to be rezoned multi-family/recreational under the <br /> text amendment and its relationship to the golf course and Section 23A. <br /> The tour continued through Section 23 in order to observe the <br /> open space (park land) adjacent to the Hampton Farms Subdivision and <br /> available to the residents for recreational purposes. <br />
