MINUTES <br /> ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> October 11 , 1976 <br /> The regular meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order <br /> by Chairman Pro Tem William E. Shannon at 8: 15 p.m. on Monday, October 11 , <br /> 1976, in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington <br /> Avenue. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> William Shannon, Chm. Pro Tem Stanley Klyber <br /> Edward Hauser Alvin Krasnow <br /> Thomas Hamilton STAFF PRESENT: <br /> Leah Cummins Thomas Rettenbacher, Building Comr. <br /> William Wesley Gary Parrin, Administrative Asst. <br /> Warren Jacobsen (8:35) <br /> Elk Grove Estates Homeowners Association <br /> Joe Cimino, Dick McGrenera and Bill Balcini were present representing <br /> the Elk Grove Estates Homeowners Association to discuss the location for <br /> the proposed one-story management building for recreational facilities <br /> and member P.U.D. Associations. The building would front on Walter <br /> Avenue and be located in the common open space. <br /> Cimino noted that the Association prefers the above location due <br /> to the accessibility of public utilities . The trailer currently on <br /> Cosman Road will be removed. <br /> Hamilton questioned why the Commission must review the building <br /> site. Rettenbacher replied that the building is a permitted use in <br /> the P.U.D. but is also a minor change to the open space. Plan Commission <br /> action would be to approve the revised plat for parcel "A" and forward <br /> it to the Village Board. The Commission had no objections to the <br /> proposal and requested the Association prepare the necessary amendment <br /> to the plat. <br /> A location plan is attached to the minutes. <br /> Superior Tea and Coffee Company: Docket 76-j <br /> Louis Shapiro, David Callies and David Bernstein were present to <br /> represent Superior Tea. <br /> Shannon informed Superior Tea that at the August 9, 1976 public <br /> hearing, the members present (Shannon, Klyber, Hamilton, Wesley, Jacobsen <br /> and Hauser) voted to approve the rezoning by a vote of 6-1 . The delay <br /> that occurred resulted from reviewing the testimony and establishing <br /> the finding of fact for submittal to the Village Board. The Commission's <br /> approval will be forwarded to the Village Board for action on October 12, <br /> 1976. <br /> Commons of Roundtree <br /> The Commission considered the final land use and zoning plat for <br /> approval .
