• <br /> MINUTES <br /> ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> February 23, 1976 <br /> The regular meeting of the Plan Commission was called to order <br /> at 8:22 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 1976, in the Staff Conference Room <br /> of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> Leah Cummins , William Shannon <br /> Chairman Pro Tem Alvin Krasnow <br /> Edward Hauser <br /> Warren Jacobson STAFF PRESENT: <br /> William Wesley Gary Parrin, <br /> Thomas Hamilton Administrative Assistant <br /> Stan Klyber (9:00 p.m.) Thomas Rettenbacher, <br /> Building Commissioner <br /> Section 22 <br /> Steve Bilheimer, Mike Ives, Rick Burton and Tom McCabe were <br /> present to discuss the staff reports concerning the preliminary review <br /> of Section 22. A copy of the reports was given to Centex. <br /> Centex desired time to review the comments and requested a <br /> special meeting on Monday, March T , 1976 to discuss the comments of the <br /> operating departments and Plan Commission. <br /> Rountree Commons <br /> The recent purchasers of the De Bruyne (Rountree) property, <br /> Richard Wolchuk and Frank Columbia, were before the Plan Commission to <br /> discuss a preliminary development plan for the property. Thomas Green, <br /> Architect for the development, and Samuel La Susa, Attorney for the <br /> developers , were also present. <br /> The plan presented to the Commissioners showed 80 townhouses <br /> on a 20 acre site. <br /> The Plan Commission had the following comments and requests : <br /> 1 . Provide a topographical survey. <br /> 2. Reflect on the site plan: <br /> A. 60' dedication for Home Avenue. <br /> B. 50' dedication for Biesterfield Road (one-half the street) . <br /> C. Sidewalks along Biesterfield Road and Home Avenue. <br /> 3. Soil borings are needed to develop the site plan. <br /> 4. A landscaping plan is requested before approval of the site plan. <br /> 5. The developer should consider parking for visitors . <br /> 6. A traffic study would be informative for the Commissioners . <br />
