. 4 <br /> ' • • <br /> MINUTES <br /> ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> February 17, 1975 <br /> The regular meeting of the Plan Commission was called to <br /> order at 8: 15 P.M. on Monday, February 17, 1975 in the Staff Conference <br /> Room of the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> Edward Hauser Thomas Hamilton <br /> Marc Grice Alvin Krasnow <br /> Stanley Klyber Leah Cummins <br /> Richard McGrenera <br /> Joseph Cimino <br /> William Wesley (8:28) <br /> STAFF PRESENT: <br /> Thomas Rettenbacher, Building Commissioner <br /> Gary Parrin, Administrative Assistant <br /> CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 197 <br /> Hauser moved approval of Unit No. 197. Klyber seconded the <br /> motion. All present voted AYE. <br /> Chairman McGrenera informed the Commissioners that a public <br /> hearing is set for March 17, 1975 at 8:00 P.M. to hear the petition of <br /> George Gaurilos . The petitioner is seeking a special use permit to <br /> construct and operate a restaurant at the southwest corner of Devon <br /> Avenue and York Road. <br /> SPECIAL USE FOR ANTENNA <br /> Northwest Security Systems provided the Plan Commission with <br /> the information requested at the January 20, 1975 public hearing. <br /> Klyber moved to grant the special use permit for the antenna. <br /> Cimino seconded the motion. All present voted AYE. <br /> Wesley arrived at 8:28 P.M. <br /> RAILROAD TRACK <br /> Klyber moved to deny the petition of Podolsky & Associates for <br /> a special use permit to extend a railroad spur along Touhy Avenue. <br /> Hauser seconded the motion. <br /> During the discussion, Wesley stated that the petitioner has <br /> not shown any hardship. The petitioner is looking to increase the <br /> marketability of the property. Grice concurred with Wesley and added <br /> that the petitioner was soliciting a solution from the Plan Commission <br />
