11 —I �• 07 <br /> MINUTES <br /> ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> December 16, 1974 <br /> MEMBERS" PRESENT: Richard McGrenera <br /> Alvin Krasnow <br /> Edward Hauser <br /> Marc Grice (8:35) <br /> William Wesley (10:15) <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Thomas Hamilton <br /> Joseph Cimino <br /> Leah Cummins <br /> Staff Present: Albert Walla, Building Supervisor <br /> Gary Parrin, Administrative Intern <br /> Due to the lack of a quorum, no official business was conducted., <br /> by the Plan Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting until <br /> 10:15 P.M. At that time Commissioner Wesley arrived to consummate <br /> the quorum. <br /> Prior to Commissioner Wesley's arrival , the Commissioner <br /> discussed the extension of rail service to a 9-acre parcel of <br /> property bounded by Touhy Avenue, State Route 83, and Estes <br /> Avenue with a representative for the owner. <br /> The petitioner will request a special use permit to extend <br /> rail service along the south side of Touhy Avenue. The tracks <br /> would be set back 25 feet from the street. A building immediately <br /> west of the petitioner's property prohibits the rail service from <br /> being extended in any other manner except along Touhy Avenue. <br /> The Chairman told the representative of the petitioner that <br /> their initial step would be to obtain a special use application,. <br /> from the Clerk's Office. The Chairman then outlined the procedures <br /> the petitioner must follow. <br /> Commissioner Wesley arrived at 10:15 P.M. <br /> Markay Resubdivision <br /> Grice moved approval of the resubdivision. Krasnow seconded the <br /> motion. All present voted AYE. <br /> Higgins Industrial Park Unit 168 <br /> The plat showed Unit 168 being partially in the flood plain. <br /> Krasnow moved for approval of Unit 168. Grice seconded the <br /> motion. <br /> The following voted AYE: Grice, Krasnow; NAY: Wesley, Hauser. <br /> Chairman McGrenera voted AYE and declared the unit approved. <br /> (continued. . . . . <br />
