Minutes <br /> ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> September 16, 1987 <br /> Members Present: Members Absent <br /> John Glass, Chairman David Paliganoff <br /> Leah Cummins, Secretary Fred Geinosky <br /> Clark Fulton <br /> Phil Knudsen <br /> George Mullen <br /> Staff Present: <br /> Steve Trudan, Building Inspector <br /> Robin Weaver, Administrative Assistant <br /> The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairperson Leah Cummins <br /> at 8:11 P.M. <br /> STERLING SUBDIVISION <br /> (2 lots at 1963 Touhy, west of Nicholas Blvd.) <br /> Members discussed the proposed two lot Sterling Subdivision located <br /> at 1963 Touhy Avenue. Robin Weaver reported that the only obstacle to <br /> staff approval of the Plat was that the existing building was not <br /> drawn to scale. The petitioner agreed to make the correction. <br /> John Glass moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the <br /> Sterling Subdivision subject to staff review and approval. The motion <br /> was seconded by George Mullen and approved unanimously (Paliganoff and <br /> Geinosky absent) . <br /> MCDONALD!S SPECIAL LOCATION PLAN <br /> (1400 Busse Road) <br /> A Special Location Plan for the McDonalds Restaurant at 1400 Busse <br /> Road was presented and discussed. The Plan alters the current drive- <br /> thru direction and adds stacking spaces. Staff recommended approval . <br /> A motion was made by John Glass and seconded by Phil Knudsen to <br /> recommend approval of the McDonald's Special Location Plan. The motion <br /> passed unanimously (Paliganoff and Geinosky absent) . <br /> BIESTERFIELD ROAD EXTENSION AND BIESTERFIELD ROADIX--290 INTERCHANGE <br /> Leah Cummins initiated a discussion on the merits and the disadvantages <br /> of the Biesterfield Road Extension and the interchange at 1.290 and <br /> Biesterfield Road. Members discussed the history of their recommendations <br />
