Plan <br /> Commission members discussed various aspects of detached garages, <br /> frame construction of garages, walkway lighting, "private driveways", <br /> tot lots, and retaining walls. <br /> Joe Luciani of Centex Homes, Inc. explained that detached garages <br /> were designed to provide light and ventilation to the housing units and <br /> to permit the garages to be angled differently from one another for <br /> aesthetic purposes. Concerns were raised by members that some of the <br /> garages are distant from the housing units and may therefore cause <br /> visitor parking to be taken_ by residents. Frame construction of the <br /> garages, as originally planned by Centex, does not meet the Building <br /> Code. Chairman. Glass questioned the marketability of detached garages. <br /> The development will provide lighting of the interior walkway <br /> system. It was jointly decided that a combination of types of lighting <br /> would probably serve the area best.
