0 • <br /> PLAN COMMISSION MEETING August 4, 1966 <br /> The members present were: <br /> Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman <br /> Leah Cummins <br /> Leslie Knudson <br /> Gayle Bantner <br /> Jack Denny <br /> Dick McGrenera <br /> Bill Ballard <br /> Leah Cummins moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval_ <br /> of the variation from a width of 40 feet to 36 feet on Bennett <br /> Street through to State Road in the Higgins Road commercial. <br /> It was seconded by Les Knudson. <br /> In the discussion it was pointed out that it would be perhaps <br /> advantageous to stay consistent on the width of Bennett Street <br /> throughout that portion of the development. A variation in the <br /> width of streets in different parts is not good planning. <br /> The vote was as follows : <br /> Those in favor - Leah Cummins , Steve Schwellenbach, Les. <br /> Knudson, Jack Denny <br /> Those opposed - Gayle Bantner, Bill Ballard <br /> Dick McGrenera abstained. The recommendation was passed 4-2. <br /> The preliminary and final on Centex Industrial Park Units #44 and <br /> #45 were referred back to the developer since the plats were in <br /> conflict . <br /> Dick McGrenera moved for the approval of the preliminary and final <br /> Centex Industrial Park Unit #46. Jack Denny seconded: the vote was <br /> unanimous . <br /> There followed then a long discussion on whether home occupations <br /> should be permitted, or whether they should be left out of the <br /> proposed zoning ordinance. <br /> Respectfully / mitt <br /> W.
