Elk Grove Firemen's Pension Fund
1`8 August 1980
Meeting called to order at 7x30 p.m by President Walter Kriesant
at Headquarters Fire Station, 101 Biesterfield Road.
Present were members: Walter Kriesant, Charles Henrici, George C.
Coney, Douglas C. Goostree and Joseph Gardner III.`
Motion by G. Coney, seconded by D. Goostree to dispense with reading
of 5 May 1980 Meeting Minutes and accept as written. Motion passed
unanimously.
Minutes of 23 June 1980 Special Meeting were read. Motion by G.
Coney, seconded by D. Goostree to accept as corrected. Motion passed
unanimously.
Treasurers Report
Treasurer reported $109.784.80 is available to be invested and will
be done this week.
Treasurer reported preliminary treasurers report submitted 23 June
' 1980 has been finalized attached is final copy. Motion by J. Gardner
III, seconded by C. Henrici to accept report. Motion passed unan-
imously.
Old Business
Secretary reported two birth certificates in files which the names on
the certificate are not spelled the same as, the men spell and use their
names. Motion made by G. Coney, seconded by J. Gardner III for fund
President W. Kriesant to send letter to Village Attorney G. Knicker-
bocker requesting his presence at the next meeting to give legal opinion
on matter. Motion passed unanimously.
President and Secretary reported reluctance on some men to provide
certified copies requested on data sheets. Data sheets have been
given all men to up date and complete all records. Motion by C. Henrici
seconded by J. Gardner III to require all records requested on data
sheet be complied with. Motion passed unanimously.
Joseph Gardner III-suggested packages be made up for new men consisting
of: 1. Cover Letter informing new men data required of 'them to be
turned .in within three (3) days after starting date. 2. Data sheet con-
sisting of what is required. 3. Application to fund form. 4. Infor-
mation blank form.
Motion by Joseph Gardner III seconded by C. Henrici for secretary to
make up such packages and give them to Police and Fire Commission:;
Who would give them to the new men at their last interview. Motion
passed unanimously. C. Henrici promised to deliver the packages to
the Police and Fire'Commission;.

Motion by W. Kriesant seconded by C. Henrici to put Minutes of
Pension Board Meeting on all bulletin boards. Motion passed
unanimously.
Adjournment
Motion by G. Coney, seconded by D. Goostree the meeting was'ad-
journed at 8:35 p.m.
