called to consider review of Personnel.

The new Public Works Director Colby Basham informed Elgin that he would be leaving. A staff
member at Elgin put this information on Facebook. Due to existing issues at Elgin, this was
picked up by the Daily Herald. Basham extended his apologies to the Village for how the news
came out about his departure from Elgin. Basham is moving to Elk Grove Village, and plans to
finish his career with Elk Grove Village.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:57 p.m.
