Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on November 13, 2018, this Executive Session was
called to consider review of Personnel.

New Public Works Director Colby Basham wants to reclassify the front counter positions. The
Village has a new work order system, and Colby would like to implement an enhanced customer
service approach where residents receive a personal contact with regular updates for ongoing
requests, such as forestry, etc. Colby would like to take existing clerical staff, train them on
customer service, and reclassify the position as a Customer Service Assistant. This would allow
foreman to focus on on -street operations and the Customer Service Assistants to handle more
customer -focused actions.
