AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO SPRINTCOM, INC. TO
PERMIT THE INSTALLATION OF WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNAS ON
AN EXISTING MONOPOLE LOCATED NORTH OF OAKTON STREET AND WEST OF
LIVELY BOULEVARD (1060 OAKTON STREET) ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, at a Public Hearing duly
called and held according to law, considered the petition of
SprintCom Communication (Sprint) to obtain a Special Use Permit
for the installation of wireless telecommunication antennas on an
existing monopole located on Village property at 1060 Oakton
Street; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after having
considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan
Commission, find it to be in the best interest of the Village
that said Special Use Permit be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to
SprintCom Communications, Inc. to permit the installation of nine
(9) wireless telecommunication panel antennas at a height in
excess of 65 feet on property located north of Oakton Street and
west of Lively Boulevard (future Fire Station - 1060 Oakton
Street) which property is legally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of
Lot 58 in Higgins Industrial Park Unit 40, being a
Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township

Commonwealth Edison right of way; Thence North 49 degrees
52 minutes 26 seconds East along said right of way 'Line
313.27 feet to the point of the beginning in Cook County,
Illinois.
