MINUTES OF BOARD MEETING
ELK GROVE FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD
May 3,. 1982
A meeting of the Firemen's Pension Fund was held on Monday, May 3, 1982
in the basement of the Headquarters Fire Station, 101 Biesterfield Road.
The meeting was called to order by President Walter J. Kriesant at 7:30
pm-
ROLL CALL
On roll call the following members were present: Walter J. Kriesant,
George C. Coney, Douglas C. Goostree and Joseph Gardner III.
MINUTES
Minutes of February 1, 1982 meeting were read by the Secretary. Motion
by D. Goostree, seconded by G. Coney to accept as written. Motion
passed unanimously.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer G. Coney submitted balance sheet and schedule of investments
of the Pension Fund as of 30 April 1982. The Treasurer also supplied
all members present with new updated copies of the Pension Law. Motion
by J. Gardner III, seconded by D. Goostree to accept Treasurer's Report
and place balance sheet and schedule of investments on file with the
Pension Board Minutes. Motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Canvass of ballots from 19 April 1982 election was taken. Motion by J.
Gar-dngx� III, seconded by G. Coney to accept tally count and declare
Walter J. Kresant as win-� ne Motion passed unanimously.
Secretary reported Pension Fund members compliance with necessary
documentation was as follows
75.29 Fully Complied
7.06 Partially Complied
86.95 Of all deficiencies found by the Illinois
Department of Insurance.
Report Of Examination, April 30, 1982 had been corrected. Motion by D.
Goostree, seconded by W. Kriesant to accept the Secretary's Report.
Motion passed unanimously.
After Some discussion among Pension Board Members a motion by G. Coney,
seconded by D. Goostree to no longer pursue Pension Board Members who
have not supplied the Pension Board with necessary documentation.

The Secretary was directed to send a letter to Chief C. Henrici informing
him which members had not complied. Also a letter is to be given to
each member who has not complied and remindthem their benefits will
be delayed, until all certified documentation has been given to the
Pension Board. Motion passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion by G. Coney, seconded by D. Goostree to nominate: Walter J.
Kriesant (President) , Douglas C. Goostree (Vice President) , Joseph
Gardner III (Secretary) . Motion passed unanimously. The election of
these members was unanimous.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion BY D. Goostree, seconded by J. Gardner III to adjourn. Motion
passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:53 pm.
