KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 19, 2019, this Executive Session was called to consider review of Property Disposition. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: October 2019 Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: March 19, 2019 \.,. 8:34 p.m. The Village has received two offers for the Greenleaf fire station property —one for $300,000 and one for $370,000. Both interested buyers want to use it as an automotive repair facility, for which it is well -suited. The lot is not deep enough or big enough for traditional industrial uses. The Village may have to put $5,000410,000 into the building to get it ready for sale, as there are currently ongoing plumbing issues that would need to be made fully functional. The Village is not using an agent, but will have to pay a share of the broker's fee for the buyer. The consensus of the Board was to authorize the sale for $370,000.
