Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 9, 2019, this Executive Session was called
to consider review of Litigation.

Village staff have been working to address numerous property maintenance and safety issues at
113 Kenilworth. The owner of the property has filed for bankruptcy and their bankruptcy
attorney informed the Village that there was a stay and the Village could not pursue payment.
The Village Attorney hired a bankruptcy attorney on behalf of the Village to get the stay lifted,
which will allow the Village to recoup funds owed for water billing and to take the numerous
code compliance and health safety issues to housing court.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
