ELK GROVE FIREMEN ' S PENSION FUND
j 6 FEBRUARY 1984
A meeting of the Firemen' s Pension Fund was held on Monday, '
February 6 , 1984 in the basement of the Headquarters Fire
Station, 101 Biesterfield Road. The meeting wascalled to
order by Presid¢nt Walter J. Kriesant at 7: 30 P .M.
ROLL CALL
On Roll Call the following members were present: Walter J.
Kriesant, George C. Coney, Charles B . Henrici , Douglas C.
Goostree , and Joseph Gardner III .
MINUTES
Motion by C. Henrici , seconded by G. Coney to accept 7 Nov
1983 Minutes as written and dispense with reading. Motion
passed unanimously.
TREASURER' S REPORT
Treasurer G. Coney submitted Balance Sheet and Schedule of
Investments of the Pension Fund as of 6 Feb 1984 The
Treasurer recommended to the Board the Pension Fund do some
investing in The Government National Mortgage Asso . Motion
by C. Henrici , seconded by J. Gardner III to accept the
Treasurer ' s Report and place Balance Sheet and Schedule of
Investments on file with Pension Board Minutes . Also to
authorize the Treasurer to invest in The Government National
Mortgage Asso . not to exceed $1 , 000 , 000 . 00 . Motion passed
unanimously .
NEW BUSINESS

I The Treasurer reported there had been some changes in Chapter
10812 Pensions Article 4 Firemen ' s Pension Fund and he would
see to it all Board members received copies of the changes .
He reminded the Secretary under those changes the active
members of the Fire Dept . would be electing another active
member to the Pension Board in lieu of the retired firemen
authorized to be on the Board because we have no retired
members The Secretary reported he had received a request
from the Village Clerk for a list of records and information
the Firemen' s Pension Fund maintained and those which would
be available under The Freedom of Information Act . The
Secretary stated he was compiling that list and felt all
records and information would be available to the public
under the Act except the personal Personnel Jackets required
by the Pension Law to be maintained by the Pension Board.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by D. Goostree , seconded by C. Henrici to adjourn .
Motion passed unanimously . Meeting adjourned at 8 : 05 P .M.
