ELK GROVE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND
7 NOVEMBER 1983
A meeting of the Firemen's Pension Fund was held on Monday, November 7, 1983
in the basement of the Headquarters Fire Station, 101 Biesterfield Road.
The meeting was called to order by President Walter J. Kriesant at 6:40 P.M.
ROLL CALL
On Roll Call the following members were present: Walter J. Kriesant, George C.
Coney, Douglas C. Goostree, and Joseph Gardner III. John Lantz menber of EGV F.D.
was in attendance.
MINUTES
No meeting was held 1 August 1983 due to. the lack of a quorm, therefore the
Minutes of the 3 May 1983 meeting were read by the Secretary. Motion by D.
Goostree seconded by G. Coney to accept as written. Motion passed unanimously.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer G. Coney submitted balance sheet and schedule of investments of the
Pension Fund as of 31 October 1983. Motion by J. Gardner III, seconded by D.
Goostree to accept Treasurer's Report and place balance sheet and schedule of
investments on file with the Pension Board Minutes. Motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Motion by G. Coney, seconded by D. Goostree for Pension Fund to pay expenses of
Pension Board members attendind Pension Seminar held 4 November 1983 in Elmhurst,
Illinois. Motion passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion by G. Coney to accept Comprehensive Annual Financial Report by Coopers
& Lybrand as presented and place on file, seconded by D. Goostree. Motion
passed unanimously. Secretary informed those present all members of the Pension
Fund had been sent copies of the Report.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by J. Gardner III, seconded by D. Goostree to adjourn. Motion passed
unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 6:57 P.M.
