AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 SCAVENGERS OF TITLE 3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village has determined that debt service fees related to the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) have decreased due to the recent sale of certain SWANCC
property; and
WHEREAS, accordingly, it is the consensus of the Village Board to decrease the current account fee paid by the Commercial/Industrial Scavengers from $10.50 per month to $5.25 per month.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-14A-3:B.2 of the Village Code be amended to read as follows:
Account Fee - $5.25 per month, per account payable
quarterly-the total fee to be based on the number
of accounts at the beginning of each license year.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after June 1, 2003.
