AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A MEAT PROCESSING FACILITY IN AN I-2 INDUSTRIAL ZONED DISTRICT AT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2600 DELTA LANE, ELK GROVE
VILLAGE (NORTHSTAR FOODS, INC.)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, held a public hearing duly called and held according to law to consider the question
of granting a Special Use Permit to permit the operation of a meat processing facility in an I-2 Industrial Zoned District; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it
is in the best interest of the Village that such Special Use Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit in accordance with Section 7E-4:A of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the operation of a meat processing facility in an I-2 Industrial
Zoned District for property located at 2600 Delta Lane, Elk Grove Village, Illinois (Northstar Foods, Inc.).
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
