AN ORDINANCE AMENDING POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (MECHANIC -PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Permanent Authorized Positions
*Delete Add Total
Public Works Department Current Full -Time Full -Time May 11, 2021
Mechanic 5 1 1 6
*Authorized amount was increased by one (1) position on temporary basis to allow for
retirement. Authorized amount will decrease back to five (5) positions after retirement.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
