AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO ALL STAR CAB DISPATCH, INC. TO PERMIT THE ISSUANCE OF A PUBLIC PASSENGER VEHICLE DISPATCHER LICENSE IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, sitting as a Public Vehicle Commission, considered the Petition of All Star Cab Dispatch, Inc., which Petition
requested the issuance of a Certificate of Authority authorizing the issuance of a Public Passenger Vehicle Dispatcher License within the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Public Vehicle Commission having heard evidence and testimony and being advised by the owner that said company would comply with all applicable Village Ordinances and Codes
pertaining to the operation of a public passenger vehicle dispatching service, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village to issue said Certificate of Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That a Certificate of Authority be and is hereby issued to All Star Cab Dispatch, Inc. to authorize the issuance of a Public Passenger Vehicle Dispatcher License within
the Village of Elk Grove Village, subject to compliance with all applicable Village Codes and licensing regulations as set forth in Title 3, Chapter 7 A. et. seq. of the Official Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That such License and any Collateral Taxicab Licenses associated with said dispatching service not be issued until such time as applicable insurance
requirements have been met and any taxicab intended to be operated under an agency agreement has been inspected for safety purposes as required by Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
