HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3043 - 6/21/2005 - SPECIAL USE/MEAT PROCESS/2355 GREENLEAFORDINANCE NO. 3043 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ROSENSTEIN PROPERTIES, LLC TO PERMIT A MEAT PROCESSING FACILITY IN AN I-2 INDUSTRIAL ZONED DISTRICT LOCATED AT 2355 GREENLEAF AVENUE ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a Special Use Permit to Rosenstein Properties, LLC to permit the operation of a meat processing facility in an I-2 Industrial Zoned District located at 2355 Greenleaf Avenue, Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to issue said Special Use Permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the transcript of the proceedings before the Plan Commission and the findings and recommendations of said Plan Commission are incorporated into this Ordinance. Section 2: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Rosenstein Properties, LLC to permit the operation of a meat processing facility in an I-2 Industrial Zoned District located at 2355 Greenleaf Avenue, Elk Grove Village and legally described as follows: LOT 1 IN NATIONAL METAL FABRICTORS RESUBDIVISION OF PART OF LOT 21 OF CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT 5, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF FILED SEPTEMBER 25, 1987, AS DOCUMENT LR3654385, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS Section 3: That the Special Use Permit is subject to the conditions as set forth by the Plan Commission and contained in their findings and recommendation dated May 19, 2005. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 21st day of June 2005.
