HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2938 - 4/22/2003 - VARIATION GRANTED/1245 HEMLOCK DR/GARAGEORDINANCE NO. 2938 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-7:D-2 AND 7-1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE WHICH WILL BE LOCATED LESS THAN SIX (6) FEET FROM THE SIDE LOT LINE LOCATED AT 1245 HEMLOCK DRIVE (LONG) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a public hearing, duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7:D-2 and Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a detached garage that would encroach approximately two (2) feet into the required six (6) foot set back on property located at 1245 Hemlock Drive, Elk Grove Village, and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees, after having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, rind and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-7:D-2 and 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a detached garage that would encroach approximately two (2) feet into the required six (6) foot set back on property located at 1245 Hemlock Drive, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and identified by property identification number 08-33-406-005-0000. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
