HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2940 - 6/17/2003 - ZONING VARIATION 1281 CYPRESS LNORDINANCE NO. 2940 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTIONS 3-7:D.3 AND 7A - 1:B CONCERNING THE LOCATION OF FENCES ON CORNER LOTS IN PROXIMITY TO THE LOCATION OF THE PRINCIPAL BUILDING LOCATED ON THE ADJACENT LOT AND OF SECTION 3-7.D.2 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SIZE AND LOCATION OF A DETACHED GARAGE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1281 CYPRESS LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (ELIZABETH LUKOWYCH) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of granting a variation of Village Zoning Ordinance Number 2410 to permit the construction of a detached garage and the installation of a fence that would exceed the provisions of said Zoning Ordinance for property located at 1281 Cypress Lane, Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, rind and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Sections 3-7.D.3 and 7A - 1:B with respect to the location of fences to permit a six (6) foot high wooden fence that would extend in the front yard only up to the front of the new garage and a variation of Section 3-7.D.2 pertaining to the size and location of detached garages to permit a twenty-four (24) foot by twenty-six (26) foot (624 square feet) detached garage on property located at 1281 Cypress Lane, Elk Grove Village and identified by the following property identification number. - 08 -33-309-036 Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
