AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-E.3B RETAIL SALE OF
MERCHANDISE ADDING OFFICES USES AS AN ELIGIBLE PRIMARY
BUILDING OR STRUCTURE CONCERNING RETAIL SALES
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
considered the question of amending Section 7-E:3B of the Zoning Ordinance
pertaining to retail sale of merchandise as a special use in the Industrial Zoned
District to permit office uses as a designated primary building or structure; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having reviewed the finding and recommendation of said Plan
Commission, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to amend
the Zoning Ordinance as recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 7 -E. -3B of the Zoning Ordinance be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
B. Retail Sale of Merchandise: Retail sale of Merchandise
wherein the floor area of said retail use exceeds 20% of the
entire floor area of the primary building or structure and where
said retail use is in conjunction with wholesale uses, wholesale
storage of merchandise, or office uses.
Sect- i That this ordinance sha// be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
