AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2911 AS IT PERTAINS TO HEIGHT
VARIATIONS AND PARKING VARIATIONS TO INCREASE THE HEIGHT VARIATION
FROM 41 % FEET TO 50 FEET 3 INCHES, THE NUMBER OF STORIES FROM 3 TO 4
AND THE VARIATION IN THE NUMBER OF PARKING STALLS FROM 74 TO 104 ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF DEVON AVENUE AND
ROHLWING ROAD, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a
public hearing duly called and held according to law considered the question of
increasing the number of stories, the height variation and the parking variation
previously granted pursuant to Ordinance No. 2911 to property located at the
northeast comer of Devon and Rohlwing Road to permit a 4 story building, 50
feet 3 inches in height and to further permit the variation of 104 parking stalls for
the entire complex; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Plan
Commission find and believe it is in the best interest of the Village that said
variations be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 2911, which ordinance permitted a 3 story
building 41 % feet in height and which further allowed a variation of 74 parking
stalls be amended by increasing the building height to 4 stories and 50 feet 3
inches in height and to further permit a variation of 104 parking stalls on property
located at the northeast corner of Devon Avenue and Rohlwing Road, Elk Grove
Village.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0
PASSED this 23rd day of September 2003.
