A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A COMMISSIONER AND ALTERNATE COMMISSIONER
TO THE SOUTH SUBURBAN AIRPORT COMMISSION PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE No.
2951 OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has heretofore passed and approved
Ordinance No. 2951 being "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT PROVIDING FOR THE PLANNING,
DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THE SOUTH SUBURBAN AIRPORT AND THE
CREATION OF THE SOUTH SUBURBAN AIRPORT COMMISSION- ("the
Intergovernmental Agreement'); and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is a signatory to the Intergovernmental
Agreement and, under the terms thereof, is a "Predevelopment Supporting Member"and,
thereby, a "Member of the South Suburban Airport Commission"as therein more completely
provided for and defined; and
WHEREAS, Section 5.02 of the Intergovernmental Agreement requires that each
Member, including Predevelopment Supporting Members, appoint a °Commissioner'and an
"Alternate Commissioner"to the South Suburban Airport Commission for the purpose of
exercising the powers, authorities, duties and responsibilities imposed and assumed under
the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement as therein more completely provided for and
defined, and,
WHEREAS, in compliance with the requirements of Section 5.02 of the
intergovernmental Agreement, the Village of Elk Grove Village must designate a person to
act as Commissioner to the South Suburban Airport Commission and must further designate
an Alternate Commissioner to act in the absence of the Commissioner.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That in conformance with Section 5.02 of the Intergovernmental
Agreement, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Elk Grove Village hereby appoints Mr.
Craig B. Johnson as Commissioner to the South Suburban Airport Commission and further
appoints Mr. Gary E. Parrin as altemate Commissioner to the South Suburban Airport
Commission to act in the place of Commissioner Johnson in the event of his inability to act on
behalf of the Village with respect to the business of the South Suburban Airport Commission.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a
certified copy of this Resolution for presentation to the South Suburban Airport Commission.
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as provided by law.
