AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-4-5-3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
CONCERNING PROHIBITED PARKING SIGNAGE IN ORDER TO UPDATE THE
PARKING RESTRICTION IN FRONT OF RIDGE SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the new construction and updating of Ridge School and the removal
of certain signage relating thereto, has resulted in the need for new signs in order to
restrict parking in front of Ridge School.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDby the Mayor and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-5-3 concerning Prohibited Parking in certain
locations be amended by deleting the following:
West side, from a point forty (40) yards south of Laurel Street
to the north driveway entrance of Ridge School.
And inserting in its place the following:
West side, from a point forty (40) yards south of Laurel Street
to the south driveway exit of Ridge School.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance
in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication according to law.
VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0
