AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 1.27 ACRES OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1461 BUSSE ROAD FROM 1-2 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO THE
B-3 AUTOMOTIVE ORIENTED BUSINESS AND GRANTING A VARIATION OF
SEVEN (7) FEET IN THE VILLAGE'S LOT WIDTH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
B-3 ZONED DISTRICT (PANKIWI
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
acting as a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing duly called and held
according to law, considered the question of rezoning approximately 1. 27 acres
of property located at 1461 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village from the 1-2 Industrial
District to the B-3 Automotive Oriented Business; and
WHEREAS, should said rezoning occur, it would be necessary to grant a
seven (7) foot variation in the lot width requirements of the Village in the B-3
Automotive Oriented Business; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said
recommendation find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to
grant the rezoning and the variation requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village does hereby rezone approximately 1. 27 acnes
of property located at 1461 Busse Road from the 1-2 Industrial District to the B-3
Automotive Oriented Business, which property is legally described as follows:
Lot 6 together with the west half of vacated Busse Road, lying
East of and adjoining Lot 6 in Kuhlman's Subdivision, being a
Subdivision of part of the northwest quarter of the northwest
Quarter of Section 356, Township 41 north, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the owner is granted a variation of seven (7) feet to
permit a lot width of 143 feet in the B-3 District.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0
