HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2956 - 10/28/2003 - ZONING VARIATION/1481 WM CLIFFORD LNORDINANCE NO. 2956 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:D.2 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE LOCATION OF DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OFA 2 CAR DETACHED GARAGE THAT WOULD BE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 3 FEET FROM THE SIDE LOT LINE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1481 WILLIAM CLIFFORD LANE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (JACOBSON/GESKLIN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing, duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7.-D.2 which requires all detached accessory structures to be located no closer than six (6) feet to the side lot line, to permit the construction of a 2 car detached garage that would be located approximately three (3) feet from the side lot line on property located at 1481 William Clifford Lane, Elk Grove Village, and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, rind and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage Illinois as follows. Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:D.2 to permit the construction of a two (2) car detached garage that would be located approximately three (3) feet from the side lot line on property located at 1481 William Clifford Lane and identified by property identification number 07-36-409-041-0000. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0 PASSED this 2e day of October, 2003.
