AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO BETHLEHEM
TEMPLE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH TO PERMIT A CHURCH AS A
SPECIAL USE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1030 NERGE ROAD, ELK
GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Bethlehem Temple Missionary Baptist Church has
petitioned the Village for a Special Use to permit them to locate a church facility
on property located at 1030 Nerge Road, Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, at a Public Hearing duly called and
held according to law, considered the question of the granting of said Special
Use Permit; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees, after having reviewed the
recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe that it is
in the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That a Special Use Permit be granted to the Bethlehem
Temple Missionary Baptist Church to permit their property at 1030 Nerge Rd, Elk
Grove Village to be used as a church subject to the condition that the petitioner
provide evidence to the Village that a Shared Parking Agreement will be in effect
at all times that the Special Use Permit is in effect, otherwise the Special Use
Permit to be deemed terminated.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0
PASSED this 28th day of October 2003.
