AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7E INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE BY PROVIDING FOR CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS OF
CERTAIN CONDITIONAL USES (BUSINESS AND TRADE SCHOOLS)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, at a public hearing duly called and held according to
law, considered the question of adopting a text amendment to
Section 7E of the Zoning Ordinance to permit provisions for
conditional uses as requested by the Chicago Northeast Illinois
District Council of Carpenters Apprentice and Training Program;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and
finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the
best interest of the Village that the Zoning Ordinance be amended
as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage as follows:
Section 1: That present Section 7E-2 thru 7E-8 be
renumbered to 7E-3 thru 7E-9 respectively.
Section 2: That a new Section 7E-2 entitled Conditional
Uses permitted in all Industrial Districts is hereby adopted,
which new Section shall read as follows:
Section 7E-2 Conditional Uses Permitted in all
Industrial Districts.

A. Business and Trade Schools, subject to
adherence to the following conditions:
1. Conformance with the performance
standards of Section 7E-8 of this Chapter
and receipt of a performance standards
review certification in accordance with
Section 7E-7 prior to new construction
remodeling, or a change in occupancy.
2. All on-site instruction and/or
training shall be conducted within
completely closed buildings.
3. Parking requirements shall be in
accordance with Sub -Section 4-3-1E of this
Code, "Colleges, Universities, Trade
Schools".
4. No dormitories or resident facilities
shall be permitted.
Section 3: That the heading for Section 7E-1 Uses Permitted
in all Industrial Districts be revised and amended to read as
follows:
7E-1 Permitted Uses in all Industrial Districts
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
